During the summer, I love to make big salads with all the fresh produce that is available at the farmers market. My favorite type of salad has the perfect balance of salty and sweet. I often like to add apples or berries to my salads to add that extra kick of freshness. I also like to have the combination of sweet and salty in my vinaigrette which is why I came up with this maple-balsamic vinaigrette. It is super simple to make and a lot healthier than most store-bought salad dressings.
Here is how this maple-balsamic vinaigrette is made:
Add all the ingredients in a mason jar, close the lid and shake till well combined. That’s all there is to it! Serve on any salad you fancy and enjoy!
This will make about 2/3 of a cup of vinaigrette. I like to store any leftover dressing in the mason jar I made it in. It can last about a week in the fridge. Just make sure to give it a good shake before using.
